The George Washington Institute (GWI) is currently seeking a Podcast Production Intern for the Spring 2024 semester. This is a unique behind-the-scenes internship for undergraduates interested in contributing to a podcast and gaining key professional development skills from a podcast creator and UA doctoral student.
NOTE: At this time, only full-time students enrolled as undergraduates at the University of Alabama for the Spring 2024 semester are eligible for this opportunity.

Requirements:
- Undergraduate with an interest or major in communications and/or political science
- Interest in podcasting
- Strong communication and creative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Duties:
- Up to 10 hours per week
- Creating episode titles, descriptions, and promotional graphics for the Friends & Fellow Citizens podcast
- Producing and editing podcast episodes
- Researching for interview and solo episodes
- Booking podcast guests and coordinating logistics
- Shadowing interview recordings with guests
- Creating new features and strategies for growing listenership engagement
